4 Quick Tips.
Four quick tips to you rank higher in Google.
1. The more words in the title tag, the less authority each word has.
2. One easy way to increase the keyword density of your site is to craft relevant, yet keyword rich ALT tags for the images on your web site.
3. Give link love, Get link love. Don’t be stingy with linking out. That will encourage others to link to you.
4. Links from .edu domains are given nice weight by the search engines. Run a search for possible non-profit .edu sites that are looking for sponsors.
Understanding Trackbacks and Pingbacks.
I really should have titled this post not understanding trackbacks and pingbacks. I understand the concept of a trackback but haven’t decided if they are good, bad or if it just doesn’t matter. From what I have researched they don’t really help your SERP’s but they do help in partnering with other related blogs. Linking with related blogs would seem to me to always be a benefit. I have received several trackbacks over the last several days but I have to admit I deleted them all because of a lack of understanding of what they were. On the other hand I don’t want my comments section filled with nothing but trackback links. I will leave my site trackbacks/pingbacks capable for now and time will tell. I will post my opinion in a few months on the pro and con of trackbacks.
