These are the top six plug-ins that I use on my websites. Not all of my websites use the same plug-ins but all my sites have at least these six.

All in One SEO Pack – Optimizes your Wordpress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization). Contact Form 7 – This is a simple but flexable contact form plugin. Google XML Sitemaps – This plugin generates a XML-Sitemap compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog. This format is supported by Ask.com, Google, YAHOO and MSN Search. Privacy Policy – AdSense-compliant privacy policies for WordPress users. Video Embedder – This is a plugin for Wordpress that makes it easy to embed movies from various sources, such as YouTube and Google Video. The benefit with this plugin is that you don’t have to paste some strange video embed code into your Wordpress post, all you need is the ID of the video. This needs to be updated to include .flv files. WordPress Database Backup – WordPress database backup creates backups of your core WordPress tables as well as other tables of your choice in the same database.
