RSS feed to HTML converter script.

The other day I was searching Google looking for an RSS to HTML program. My search was pretty specific. It had to be an RSS feed that would be read by Google as content, it had to be easy to install and being free would be great (LOL). There where pages after pages of RSS feeds but all seemed to use javascript. Google has an issue reading javascript. Well actually Google refuses to read javascript so that really ends the issue. Google will simply take it’s ball and go home. I finally discovered an “RSS feed to HTML converter script.” that displays using PHP. And Google loves PHP. You can use it to display free, fully customized, keyword-targeted, auto-updating content on your website. I set it up to run off of my own blogs but it can run any RSS feed. It has a free version (they actually give you the instructions to remove their link) and an upgrade version. I am running the free version for now but I will definitely be doing an upgrade. Read more

One of the best ways to increase your Page Rank is one-way backlinks. There are several ways of achieving one-way backlinks. Article submissions, message forums and blog comments are just a few. The easiest of the three I metioned are the blog comments. But there are a few rules that must be followed. The comments must be relevant to the blog post. Spam comments like “good idea”, “nice post” or ” neat” just won’t cut it anymore. These are the types of comments that will turn a do-follow blog into a no-follow blog. And it can be a bear trying to find quality blogs with a do-follow policy. But Rishabh Sood had taken the time to list 1200+ Do-Follow blogs, not an easy task I’m sure, for all to use.

Recently on a forum that I regularly visit the question was asked “Is there a way to actively bring in yahoo traffic”? The response from M.Sturgis was short, simple and very informative. Set up an RSS feed on your site or Blog, Subscribe to your own feed in MY Yahoo. This will get Yahoo to spider the site.

I have just discovered this WordPress plug-in. This plugin generates a XML-Sitemap compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog. This format is supported by Ask.com, Google, YAHOO and MSN Search. It installed in less than 5 minutes and that includes creating the first .xml file and notifying the search engines.

I just came across this little software program called Microsoft Photo Story. You can insert and create slideshows using your digital photos. Here is a personal video I created in just a few minutes. But I can see some real possibilities to creating a marketing video using this software.
